Spooky Halloween Cake Kit
Are you having a Halloween party? Make this spooky cake with little ghost trick or treaters running from the house. I have already gathered all the fun pieces together for you...I used a 10 inch round cake for my display at our retail store.
Depending how much Cake you need, you could get creative and build yours on a 9x13 sheet cake pan (or larger) Cut off some of your length and stack on top to make your sheet cake have a hill for your spooky house.*****hint***** a frozen cake is easier to cut with no crumbs! With just a small amount of your icing seal in the crumbs, until you put the final coat later.
My very first retail store, I actually opened in late September, 1977....I put a Halloween cake on display, using cute decorations I got in for the season....It has been a tradition over the years to make up kits to sell to my customers.
Halloween is such a fun time to decorate cakes and treats. Note: The witch, kettle, cat and bats were on my first cake in 1977!!
Everything you see on the cake is in the kit. Included is a 5” Haunted house, complete with ghosts and a bat on the roof, along with 15 additional pieces. You will also receive small amount of black sugar crystals for your grave.
This will be a fun project to make for Halloween.
****Hint……add candy corn or red hots to the black pot and make a walk coming from the front door. Candy corn or any flat candy would work.
